Hi, I’m Latoya — and I know what it feels like to start over.

I created Small Changes Matter because I know what it feels like to want change so badly… but feel stuck in the same routines, the same cravings, and the same habits that keep pulling you back.

I’ve lost over 80 pounds — twice.
The first time, I did it naturally through discipline, consistency, and small daily habits. I kept the weight off and lived at my goal weight—until I got pregnant and gained over 80 pounds back. It felt discouraging, frustrating, and overwhelming… but I refused to give up on myself.

So I did it again.
And now, I’m maintaining that weight loss with a lifestyle that’s realistic, flexible, and built for women with real lives, real responsibilities, and real obstacles.

I’m a mom, a wife, and a woman who believes in progress over perfection.
I understand the emotional, mental, and physical ups and downs of weight loss—the plateaus, the late-night cravings, the doubt, the motivation waves, and the constant desire to “start over.”

My coaching is rooted in accountability, honesty, and building habits that actually stick. I help women feel supported, confident, and in control—not overwhelmed, ashamed, or confused.
